The Forest of Feelings

There is a place,
That few people can find.
A special kind of space,
For people of every kind.

There is laughter and love,
And happily ever afters.
There is so much life,
And yet not nearly enough.

For there is too much destruction,
And not enough care.
Because some people don’t give a darn,
And that’s just not fair.

And every time you litter,
Toss it over your shoulder and forget,
Think about the forest,
And stop yourself from doing it.

Because the forest has feelings,
More than we’ll ever know.
And every bush, tree and seedling,
Deserves to grow.
