Glimmering green leaves like stars in the sky
Clinging on for dear life she would lie
Hour upon hour remembering soft spoken whispers
The wind carelessly sang
Leaves gradually turning into the beloved autumn hue
The breeze manipulating every moment
Every fall, every spin
Days, then weeks went by
Bare branches swaying in the wind
As the shining moon peered through rare gaps in the billowing trees
She solemnly smiled down at the gloomy sight
The stillness was truly an ethereal scene
