The Four Seasons

The mountains grow taller as the days go on

Valleys so low like they’ve been punched down

Grass and flowers flourishing where the sun has shone

All the life has more colour than a clown

Plants and trees sweating in the heat

Hot summer days, animals needing shade

Grass and plants exhausted from the sun

It's too hot for any animals to play

Snowflakes falling to the ground like a feather

Snow as tall as a hedge

It's all covered in ice

So slippery you might slip off the ledge

Grass and plants begin to go brown

Leaves are beginning to fall

Animals gathering for hibernation

Animals hiding back in their holes
