The Earth was once a garden fair

With verdant lands and skies

But humans came and plucked its fruits

With avarice and lies

They scorched the trees and slew the beasts

They tainted air and soil

They raised their towers and forges dark

And made the planet boil

But nature has a power strong

If we grant her a chance

She can revive the life we lost

If we shift our glance

We can halt the havoc now

We can mend the rift

We can guard the gift we have

We can heal and lift

The Earth is still our Eden bright

But we must tread with care

We must cherish all that breathes

And we must learn to share
