The Kind Koala

The koala creeps and crawls
Relaxing beneath the glossy leaves
Scrambling its way through the branches
Touching the soft grass that sits so still
The pounding in my heart seems so settle
As I sit and watch them float
Like the clouds that flutter above
The smell catches my attention
Like the river that flows through my mind
Rain fills the trees with boredom
Sadness floods the bushes
While weariness floods my mind
As the trees slowly sway
And the Eucalyptus sprays
The drooling sky catches my eye
Like the ears of a bunny on a hot summer night
The smell worries me
Like the wind is hurrying me
