It's 7 am, already 30 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and the slightest breeze. Jumping off the rocks and into the ocean, all I hear is the crowd's commotion. I'm paddling hard for my first wave, The whitewash sprays against my face. The nerves are taking flight,
But I know I'm up for the fight! I'm now up and riding, my heart beating fast. This wave is so long, I hope I can last.
Hearing the crowd cheering and screaming immediately, I start dreaming. I've prepared my mind, body and soul, winning this contest is the ultimate goal. All the hard work, the blood, sweat and tears, the times I've cried from so much fear. I've surfed my best, I've given my all, and now I've made it through to the final! My heart beating at the fastest speed. Did I come second or did I succeed?
The moment has come to announce the winner, everyone's waiting for the judge's scores. The crowd is silent, then a mighty roar, my greatest victory of them all. The day went just as I dreamed, I won the event then the crowd screamed.
