The Kookaburra

In the early morning it strikes
With historical laughter some what like a choir of high pitch laughing
And cheeky monkeys chuckling
The way it hunts with its strong beak and sharp eyes
It will sit and wait until the right time then crunch
You then here the hysterical laughter
Kooo kakakakakkakakkakaka kooo
Can you guess who I am?
I am fast
I am strong
My feathers are both white and brown
Yet sometimes with a stripe of blue
Can you guess who I am?
I like to laugh a lot when you walk past
And sometimes like to sit on your window sill
Can you guess who I am?
Some say I am the symbol for love
As I mate all year round
Did you figure out who I was?
I am the laughing kookaburra
