The memories of the beach

A tingle of joy spreads across my face,

A smile of happiness brighter than the sun.

The waves splashing to the shoreline, 

like they’re having a race.

Slimy seaweed tickling the soles of my feet,

sand rubbing in between my toes.

The creamy refreshing ice cream dripping down my arm, I licked it before it dripped onto the floor.
