Holding it on my hands reminds me of a time,
A very special time at my memorial place.
It all just started just two short years ago,
Flying for the first time to Uncle Sam’s Land.

Given by a friend who knew me from birth,
A very unique item which never goes old.
Sparkling in the Sun, reflecting the light,
Shimmering sea blue crystals were seen all night.

Twelve years ago, inside a cramp space,
My mother flew alone in a long, distant flight.
On the night of 30th May, large kicks were felt,
A petite, crying child was finally given birth.

All of these memories make me remember,
Every time I touched this monumental pen.
Small droplets of tears rolled down my eyes,
Knowing how lucky I was to have a very loving mother…
