As I step past the forlorn, weedy grass

 I

  enter

             a

                 world

                             of

                                    my

                                            own.

A place of whistling winds and dancing echoes of the past,

 entangled in the frothy waves.

Built up of the homes of former crustaceans, the sand soothes my feet with the spirit of many before me

A deep sense of peace envelops me as the opaline moon hovers above me

her radiance drawing me closer.

She draws my eyes to her, like the ebb and flow of the tides,

the milky glow bathing the world in her light.

Cooling tendrils of salt and sea play with my hair as I stare into her wake,

The moon and I, we dance with the sea and hold hands through this night.
