The Mysterious Doll

Once there lived a girl named Elle Mae.
It was her birthday and she was turning seven.
Her mother Sharon and her father Michael told her to get dressed
Into one of the dresses they had got her.

“Wow” said Sharon “You look beautiful darling”.
Elle sat down in front of her cake.
Her mother had worked so hard on the cake,
For it was hard to bake.

Elle had opened her first gift and inside it was a doll.
“Wow she’s beautiful” said Elle.
Elle’s doll wears a red and white dress and also likes hugs.
“You are pretty like a butterfly flying around” said Elle.

Elle placed her doll on the chair and went to bed.
When her new doll got up and crawled onto her bed.
It was the next morning, when Elle went downstairs,
And saw her doll in the kitchen with a knife in her hand.

Elle felt scared and told her parents what had happened.
So the next day they decided to return the doll.
Elle felt heart sick after that, and cried all night long for the doll was not to
Be seen anymore.
