The Night and the Boat

Our boat stranded like a cat in water,
Laying there in an endless slumber,
It sadly stares at the midnight light,
Wondering why it's here.

We wonder and stare at the midnight sky,
We wonder how we got here,
We wonder why this happened,
We wonder if we'll survive.

The azure sky is beautiful,
The seagulls are ear-piercing siren,
The deep blue sea is mesmerizing,
And the waves continue slapping the deep blue water.

We have no rescue,
No one is coming,
We are alone,
We need to survive.
