The Nocturnal Devil

The animal with wide jaws, sharp teeth,

digging into the ground underneath.

Even though it's the size of a puppy,

it captures its prey easily, oh so lucky.

Living in rainforests that are wet,

to birds and snakes, it's a threat.

Black in colour with patches of white,

always awake during the night.

Soon these animals will be something you will forget,

so soon it, there's still time yet.
