Deep in the forest
A numbat refreshingly rests
Hidden in logs
And under the rich soil.
The numbat camouflages stealthily
Like a chameleon
Before seeing the fox
Dissolve before my eyes
The numbat rests
Hidden in the forest, peacefully.
