In the bright, warm sunshine the Numbat wakes up slowly,

and starts to scavenge for food like small grubs quietly,

shimmering when it's raining looking for shade,

darting and darting so the dingo can't see but it's still afraid.

Glistening its eye towards the setting sunset,

when its furry body is full of sweat,

He jumps high over the reflecting moon,

avoiding a raccoon.
