Me and the ocean, the ocean and me

When I'm unwell all I need is the sea

The waves, the salt, the water, and the sand

When I'm out in the surf I don’t want the land

I just want to swim among the rare sea creatures

And admire all the ocean's mysterious features

When I'm under the water I don’t hear a thing

Except the peaceful noises of the waves when they sing

Exploring the bright coral reefs, round rock pools and dry, desert dunes

I could explore for hours on end, morning till noon

The sun burning my skin, the salt in my hair

Life without the deep, blue ocean I simply couldn’t bare

The sea is a part of me, my love for it was meant to be

I love the ocean...

Me and the ocean, the ocean...and me
