It sees me when I’m sleeping
It knows when I’m awake
It’s a brick wall hiding secrets
I can’t get past it
I’m stuck
Still clueless of what it has to tell
It feels like a shell submerged in water
It looks like it’s been in many wars
When I’m not home
It travels to the past
Off it goes
It disappears
I still dream
How it’s lived this long
All these years
But it still has so long to live
Passed down by many generations
But still more to come
I can’t wait
For the adventures to come.
