The Orca

Chalk from the seabed,
Black from above
Where the waves wash and dance.
The other animals cower
At the spotting
Of the killer whale.
Sizeable spiky teeth,
Hardly ever used.
Instead they use their natural colours,
to really trick and fool.
Circling, circling, gaining in,
Fish have no where to flee.
Getting closer,
In one graceful move...
GULP!
Through the ice, the tropics, everywhere it can go.
As playful as a puppy,
It swiftly swims and
Breach! A giant, airborne shot of splashing, salty spray.
