The Reality Of Our World

Cars rushing past 

The harsh fumes spreading fast 

Mother Nature screaming for help 

As the earth around us yelps 

Plastics bottles all around 

Sustainability is nowhere to be found 

We are all murderers 

Stabbing the life out of our earth

Drowning the souls 

In a pit of black burning coals 

I wish I can just close my eyes and see 

The world and how it is supposed to be 

The colourful sunsets 

Like a splash of watercolour 

The colossal trees dripping with dew 

The glistening river paths following through

The twinkle of the aqua-blue sea

As the wildlife runs free 

Oh how enjoyable the world could be
