The Red Sand

The lovely red sand I could just fall,

This is their land that we stole.

White men coming, tears falling.

Taken on ships while parents are calling,

Calling “Come back my child!” “Why do you do this?”

The men ignore while the parents persist. 

And this is why national sorry day exists.

To showcase to the people that don’t understand.

To say sorry to the people that own this land.
