The gentle river whispers to the grass around it

All seeing

All knowing

It chuckles and gurgles,

Remembering humorous memories

Long ago

It tells me secrets,

And shares with me times of sorrow and sadness

When the black oil from the town invaded,

And smog crept over the pale blue sky

Stealing the peace between man and nature

When a storm is present

The river is a raging bear

But it struggles to survive

When the greedy sun swallows it

The river will always be there,

All seeing

All knowing,

Remembering things from long ago.
