The Sea

The sea,

A place of freedom,

Calm and still,

A dark and mysterious place

Where colours catch the eye,

Eyes on you everywhere,

Glistening in the sunlight,

Slowly the sun dips out of sight

While creating a staircase to heaven in the moonlight,

A swarm of life below the horizon,

Taking place in the most wonderful places,

Places completely different to ours,

Whispering secrets among the coral,

Passing down knowledge for future generations.
