The Seas

The vast waters are crystal clear

So beautiful I might shed a tear

The sea is filled with animals that cower

While we fill nature with flowers

Even though we protect our tall and towering trees

We should also protect our sensational and shiny seas.

Our coral is dying because of us.

Don’t you want to live without fuss?

So the next time you litter

You will be known as a quitter

The sea is calming and nice

But we treat it like mice

Some silly element to throw away

While we cater trees to grow and be praised

Protect our seas while we protect trees

Is 50/50 not enough?

Why are we acting like fools

Treating the ocean like rusty tools?

We might as well say goodbye

Because Earth is going to die.
