The sky, fevered and apocalyptic, like a captivating canvas, a world so realistic.

An alluring yet mystical painted sunset, dancing barefoot, observing my silhouette.

The moist green grass, a tingle to the toes, creatures solitary, watching for their foes.

A dew drop falls, a feeling so invigorating, a prickle to the skin, sharp, yet liberating.

A contrast of tall green pine trees, amongst the flocculent clouds,a moment of ease.

A new day, a feeling of hope it ignites, counting hours till the dark of night.

Embraced and falling into nature’s deep spell, but will it always be like this?

Only time can tell.

Nature, critically endangered, now at its prime, calling for protection, without wasting time.

But we don’t take action, we neglect, so we now pay the price, overwhelmed with regret.

Smoke flying through the air, animal residents, all in despair.

The deafening silence, no life in the midst,

As if all the love and beauty could no longer exist.

Trees deteriorating, they fall to the ground,

Our world is slowly dying, our foolish actions, they astound.

Nothing can be brought back to life, not a single flower can bloom,

No happiness, no colour, the definition of life is sorrow and gloom.

Will we learn our lesson, can we turn things around?

Yes, hard work can achieve, but laziness is all around.

The future of the world is in our hands, but only if a person who cares really understands.
