In the Murray river downstream of Yarrawonga weir, the only one remaining secure and self sustaining population of Bidyanus bidyanus (Silver Perch) thrive
Fishermen and pollution, killing a majority of these majestic fish coming in many colours such grey to green, gold or silvery
The beautiful Bidyanus bidyanus live with incredible features. A white belly, single dorsal fin and a slightly forked tail
They swim like penguins sliding in winter and swim freely by the dancing rocks.
Others see of the fish as food or just an ordinary critically endangered speices, but I see of them as the coolest fish of all time.
