The Snubfin Dolphin

The deep blue ocean glistening in the sun

A snubfin dolphin skipping across the horizon

Rising and falling into the water in the blink of an eye

Hearing a call from others of its kind

Gently flying across the never-ending sea

I walk along the beach watching the world slowly getting brighter

The radiating sun rising gives the sky an orange glow

Illuminating nearby islands and ships

And lighting up the dolphin's smooth blue skin

The water beckoning me to come closer

I sit and savor these last moments before the world wakes up
