Sitting all alone,

Listening to the rainfall,

Pitter-patter sounds,

I listen to her,

She speaks with her small soft tone,

Warmth gathers around,

While she helps me out,

I follow her instructions,

Following her rules,

Reminding myself,

Of all those details,

But the night turns cold,

My teeth shivering,

Goosebumps on my shoulders,

Mother nature sees,

She caresses me,

She strokes my hair gracefully,

Guiding me through life.
