I gaze to the open wide plain,

And feel the scorching hot sun.

Only a few Tasmanian emus remain.

They all go for a run.

Hunting, hunting until there’s not a single insect or bug that remains.

Then dingos appear in search for an egg.

They try attacking as they attempt to get it again and again, it feels like a million times.

Then, chomp! They chew the emus, leg.

But in the distance is a kangaroo.

I get relieved and begin to clap.

The dingos then see it and shoo.

As the emu’s rested to have a quiet nap.
