At a click of a button I’m in a new world
A hunter hunting or a surfer fighting a rip,
Being pulled tugged and twirled
At 7:30 on FX I’m in a zombie apocalypse
At 8:00 I’m as fast as the flash
At 8:30 I’m a solider in the army
At 9:00 I’m a detective looking for the stolen cash
On a long black screen stories are told for everyone, the young and the old
You’ve been there when I was young, showing me Dora explore with her football-sized head
You’ve been there as I grow
From Adventure Time, Reign, to The Walking Dead
People say you're bad for me,
You make me fat and lazy
But I strongly disagree, yes I disagree
You have shown me worlds I couldn’t have imagined since I was three
So I say this statement with all my heart
Without you in this world, there wouldn’t be any glee.
