The Traveling Dandelion

Sitting alone in a paddock
With nothing else around
Sits one singular dandelion
Stuck in the ground
Roaring and howling, one mighty gust
Rips the little dandelion up with a thrust
Tumbling and turning gushing back and forth
The dandelion has taken its course
Traveling places far and wide
To places where I was filled with fright
With screams so loud I imagine their faces must be white
The violent wind kept pushing me by
All of a sudden the sky turned bright
The wind suddenly turned so light
I was no longer filled with my fright
Birds are singing chirp chirp chirp
While the children are giggling playing in the dirt
As I wished that I could stay forever
I float to the ground as light as a feather
