As far as my eye can see

I don't think I'll ever see anything more splendid than a tree

Through storm and terror, the tree's rooted deep

Undisturbed in a continuous sleep

With strong narrow branches and thick green leaves

The tree holds home to many sparrows in the breeze

The tree is dependable and always presentable

In nature's grand theatre, a spectacle am I

As I watch the branches reach for the sky
