it brought as much love as it could bring .

The trophy,
waiting to be looked at,
waiting to be held.

Whenever you look at it
you can see yourself,
reflected.
You can see who you really are.
That’s why it is so special to me.

And there it is
sitting on my bookshelf
smiling brightly at me.
