The Way of the Waves

Waves, bumpy as life

With its ups and downs.

As the current gets stronger,

It pulls us in every direction;

And as it gets weaker, 

It returns us to a peaceful state.

I have learned that we are much like the waves:

Our behaviour, unpredictable;

Our depth, unknown.
