The world is like an unlit candle,
left in clouds of dust and confusion.
An imperfect structure standing bold,
fighting the elements
Dominated with fumes and scent,
our taste buds come to life.

Happiness is like a candle,
radiating beams of light and warmth;
a place where we’re supposed to belong
But some of us don’t.
When a valley is formed at the summit of the uncertain wax,
it’s emotion drowning us in the realisation of the end.

If only the world had a flame.
