we cherish our earth

we all know its worth

it is loved with pride

there are no free rides.

to care for our home

our one place to roam

its nature is kind

giving me a peace filled mind.

but it's indeed trouble

we have filled its bubble

with our long lasting litter

with air that now tastes bitter.

if we really love it with pride

we will ease its rising tide
