I see the cars pull up and people getting out
I hear the daycare next door and a car turning on
I can taste the winter breeze through my branches
I smell the fresh air and the people walking past
I touch the people who lean on me and the berries that I grow and the other plants around me
The emotions I feel most of the day are tired and relaxed from standing up in the strong wind and relaxed in the light breeze
My berries that I grow fall as light as a bird’s feathers falling and floating in the air

She wears the joy of her red berries like dazzling diamonds
She watches over me every day
