Totem

When you look at the totem, you see a mother
and a young child who both care for one another.
Carved from an exotic tree,
the sun reflects and shines on me.
When I put my ear up against it,
I hear a waterfall along with some birds nearby.
I just love them all.
I smell the totem and pinewood trees pop up in my head,
with beautiful flowers that are all coloured red.
