Tree Park

The tree was still 

The sky was bright blue

It felt like a connection

Each step l took, the connection grew

l thought someone, or something

Was trying to give me a message

I saw a pond in the distance

l had a sip of water

From the pond, for no reason

The water was sweet as candy corn
