The crackly flames burn through mother nature’s leaves,

Every hectare of land gone is a bit more of mother nature.

Animals crying with sadness knowing they have no more home,

Leaves drop dead to the ground as if it was the end.

Trees whimpering as they watch their home burn to nothing,

Firefighters trying to stop this disaster from hitting, it’s too strong.

The fire rages like an angry monster circling the floor,

Trees showing flesh nearly to the bone.

The sky filled with rage and ashes inflaming it,

Flames spreading across the land, everything in its path is toast.

Trees beaming with hope that someone will save their land,

The kookaburras still standing on the dead trees as if there were

                                       Still, something there.

                                  You now know more about

                                        Mother nature now

                                              Respect her.
