Underwater Rainforest

An abundance of colours like a painter’s palette
A delicate dance with the tide
Each one a unique new colour
They stretch far and wide
A safe haven for the sea-life
A shelter for those in danger
Walls on a castle fortifying the reef
Fuelling the kingdom, keeping it alive
It's been months since I've been here last
As I step into the sea
Skeletons stand as a harsh reminder
Of what the corals used to be
An ominous graveyard, filled with skeletons
Sea creatures mourning
Their protection destroyed
A furious force of mankind to blame
The walls destroyed, ripped to the ground
Enemy forces flowing inside
Powered by greed, money and destruction
Now the sea-life can no longer reside
