A masterpiece carved to perfection
From brown wood.
It cannot live with its smaller magical brother
That is a wooden stick with hundreds of white
Horse hairs, coated in rosin, that get a truly magnificent sound out of its
Bigger brother.
Along its long black neck, four nerves run down it : E,A,D,G.
E being the highest pitched and G being the lowest.
The neck with customized places for each finger to be placed on
that get even more stupendous sounds out of it.
The head is for major adjustment to the miraculous sounds it makes
And the screws on the body are for minor adjustments.
The body, covered in white dust from the rosin, has more perfected carvings.
This instrument is the smallest in the family of strings
But it sounds the best in the family.
This instrument may be small
But the world would be a completely different place
Without the amazing violin.
I can’t bear the thought of living without it.
