What am I?

I have

Rough bark as strong as steel, nobody can rip it off.

Lush green leaves as soft and smooth as a feather.

Big roots so long they could reach 100 miles into the earth.

Sap the colour of rubies.

And tangly branches as stringy and wiry as a chord.

                What am I
