What Was Once May Be No More

Trees, Trees,

Beautiful trees.

Take a quick glimpse,

For it may be your last.

Once running,

It now limps.

We have made them slow instead of fast.

We must cure the ailments we have bestowed upon them

Or we shall lose our precious gem.

Save the vegetation!

Save our life!

We now have many forms of life now in conservation,

Because our victim is wildlife.

Macquarie Island is merely a demonstration

Of all our deforestation.

Dodo, Tasmanian Tiger, Sea Mink and Atlas Bear 

Are examples of the times towards nature we have not been fair.

All the pain we have given to Mother Earth will lead to her demise.

The wild will soon draw its last breath

And we will feel the guilt of causing their death.
