What's the Plan?

The days you have are very short,

Beheld the life that has been bought.

These cute, tiny creatures have done nothing to harm,

Man has created a regretful alarm.

Their scruffy tails and sultana noses,

Long sticky tongues and tiny toes.

Their tiger-like stripes on the back of their spine,

We’ve impacted them greatly, are we aware of the sign?

Time is ticking, not long to go.

It’s time to stand up, we need to grow.

These curious creatures are a part

Of our lives, they’re in our heart.

The future generation wouldn’t know,

What a Numbat is, they wouldn’t show.

It’s up to us, let’s do all we can.
