Where the Leaves Blow

Where the leaves blow, a story is told.
With myths and legends, some young, some old.
As they fly through the wind like a plane in the clouds
A story of a rainbow serpent is found.
Where the leaves blow, the serpent is admired
He will come and go as he desires.
His presence brings rain
But if one is vain
Drought will coat the never ending plains.
Where the leaves blow, a time machine waits
A bridge to the past that’s just beyond the gates.
With Dreamtime stories to share
And long nights to spare
Lessons to learn, pure and fair.
A journey with seven sisters in the starry night fog
And Tiddalik the thirsty frog,
Birds that were splashed with a coloured filled bog.
And a kangaroo that was a bit of a hog.
These stories to tell, these lessons to know
All where the leaves blow.
