Where the water meets the trees

The golden sand watches
The waves slink back into the ocean.
Although there are many specks,
They are one body of sand.

The canopy of trees
Sleep for eternity,
And although unseen,
Their heartbeat is synchronised.

The faint smell of nectar
Attracts animals and brings life.
The salty smell of the sea
Protects fish of all kinds.

The wind whispers to the trees,
And gets a rustle in answer.
Pockets of blue sky
Peek in from above the foliage of leaves.

The calming atmosphere
Is inviting to all,
Baby birds stretch their wings,
And seedlings sprout into trees.
