Wild river

Where does the wild river flow from?

Does it travel as far as a migrating bird?

I look around and see the crisp white snow-topped mountains.

The rushing river crashing in the winter

How long will they last?

I hear the trickling water running over the moss-covered rocks.

Spicks of sparkles speckle in the sun

Gathering speed and gaining in volume.

I see it enter the slow-running creek

Is that the end I fear not.

It sings to me in a beautiful harmony

It runs and runs further than I can see.

Hitting branches and logs and cascading down rock faces.

When does it change from a creek to a river?

The creek continues its own path,

While the river gains momentum and starts to travel in different directions.

Just like in life as in nature.
