Wonderment

As I strolled through the forest I swayed in time with the trees,
I let the tranquillity flow into me in a splash of serene,
I stood there not really thinking just feeling,
feeling the landscape and its sense of warmth, its unique sense of home.
The forest's colour flooded into my eyes,
filling it up and then draining out in a rhythmic wave-like motion,
The vast sea of green seemed to writhe and twist in front of me,
A mix of wonder and calm intrigued me to ramble further into the forest.
The wonderment the forest extracted from me poured into the landscape,
Spreading through the forest like a lie seems to spread across someone's face,
This forest is the truth,
it’s the tranquil of the world, the dwelling of happiness and hope.
