Zozo the Dog

She sleeps as sound as a mouse.
Her paws, delicate as fragile glass.
As speedy as a cheetah she is,
But at the same time she is a rose blossoming as she grows.
She eats speed for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Teeth: sharp as a razor, but not that she uses them.
She’s a motley dog:
Messy. Untidy. Unkempt.
But she’s cute, fun and playful.
She’s like a rug rat,
Except she’s actually a bottom-sniffer.
Zozo has a coat of hair like every day is winter.
A tail like it has no end,
And ears like angel’s wings.
She’s as lovely as Guinevere:
Veiled, hidden under coats and coats of hair.
Pitch black hair, the blackest black I’ve ever seen.
Her playfulness is to the extreme.
Zozo my dog,
My lovely dog.
